An illustration based book jacket cover for a novel of our choosing. Based on marketing demographics for different readers we were to develop a cover illustration that would appeal to our target audience. I thought to develop a newer illustration that maintains some of the classical feel of the characters in the story, but without all the classic imagery. I chose a loose expressionistic style to compliment the loose style of writing by Mark Twain and to keep the lighthearted feeling of the literature.
